Tasked with managing the digital marketing portfolio of UK and US clients, you will design and implement digital marketing strategies with the aim of increasing online exposure and search positioning of the client company. Your focus at all times will be to increase natural search positioning and direct targeted traffic to the client web site. This creative role requires copywriting experience, the ability to proof read your own article and the ability to write items at short notice and to tight deadlines. As an SEO account manager, you will produce and distribute a number of press releases, articles, editorial and news items for your diverse client base each month. In addition to deciding on the themes for these items, you will present them to the client at regular monthly intervals and be able to describe to them how your ideas will contribute to improving their SEO positioning. Using specialist software, you will devise distribution lists for the produced items and communicate your inclusions to the client while liasing with press and publishing houses to ensure your items are picked up by relevant online outlets. SEO account managers must understand the changing nature of the internet and be able to use these innovations to maximise the search position of the client company. Familiar with social media and article marketing, you will leverage these networks to the client advantage as part of the link building and search position strategy. A skilled communicator, you will be able to use the written word as effectively as the spoken one. Moving between press communication and client liaison, you will provide a high level of customer service, reporting your findings, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring client satisfaction. As a Top Position account manager, you are expected to have an excellent telephone manner. You must also be organised and efficient.
