Top
Position clients can take their pay per click adverts mobile this
month, targeting searchers wherever and whenever they access Google on
a mobile device.
The
shorter, text-based AdWords ads are displayed when users browse Google
using a phone, Blackberry or other mobile appliance rather than through
a traditional computer. Clicks are then directed through to a mobile
web page or connected to a business phone.
Whether
your client is sat on a train or at a business lunch, your pay per
click advert will be delivered to the palm of the searcher’s hand.
Working
in much the same way as traditional AdWords campaigns, mobile ads
contain two lines of text with a destination URL appearing on a third
line. Advertisers electing to allow connection to a business phone will
also see a call link displayed next to the destination address.
So after browsing your advert, making an order or requesting
further information is done at the click of a button.
Google advertisers can currently target mobile users in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Germany.
