Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Client Picked By Big Brother!

Top Position's search engine optimisation client the Legal Deed Service has been chosen by Big Brother to change the legal names of two of this year’s housemates. The firm was asked by programme makers Channel 4 to assist in the personal challenge task and help Big Brother change the names of contestants Sophie Reader and Freddie Fisher.

The Legal Deed Service was approached by program makers following a series of high profile name changes this year. The changes have been well publicised by Top Position’s SEO team as part of the digital marketing and link building services included as standard with our search engine optimisation packages.

Search Engine Optimisation Service Delivers Incredible Exposure!

SEO client account manager Tina Clough said, “I’m delighted that the Legal Deed Service was chosen to assist in such a high-profile name change. It’s excellent publicity and will generate lots of links back to the site, including a fabulous one from the Channel 4 Big Brother site. Exposure like this is an excellent example of how our SEO service can lead to even bigger and better things for our clients.”

Blonde housemate Sophie Reade was required to change her name to 'Dogface' through The Legal Deed Service in order to become a Big Brother housemate. She renamed herself by signing a legally binding deed poll. Big Brother called Sophie to the diary room on day two of the show to receive her task. After clarification that a deed poll was a legally binding document Big Brother asked Sophie to read the deed aloud.  She said: "That is so insulting! I could be, like, a British bulldog, with them wrinkly faces."

Oxford University graduate, Freddie Fisher, who changed his name through The Legal Deed Service to 'Halfwit' said: "You like dogs. You'll be fine. I'm confident enough in my intelligence to be Halfwit." Later that evening Dogface started taking her new name seriously, pretending to be on a lead and to have a bone in a talent show staged by the contestants. Big Brother contestant Saffia later said: "Sophie looked quite sexy as a dog, didn't she?"

Jamie Jackson, Chief Executive said, “We were over the moon to be asked to help Big Brother and were delighted to help the contestants complete their legal name changes in order to secure their places in the Big Brother house. Both housemates found the name change process quick and easy and will now be able to apply for a new passport and bank account as Dogface and Halfwit.

“It was extremely exciting and a huge honour to be chosen to conduct the name changes and we can’t wait to see how these two contestants do this series.”

Both Dogface and Halfwit will use their new monikers for as long as they stay in the Big Brother House. The Legal Deed Service were sworn to secrecy about the switch and helped Channel 4 carry out the name change as the much anticipated series 10 began on Thursday.

The Legal Deed Service term are well used to brushes with celebrity and earlier this year helped I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here graduate Christine Hamilton to change her name by deed poll to Mrs British Battleaxe. Her husband, former MP, Neil Hamilton appeared on the popular Big Brother’s Little Brother show on Sunday to explain the legal ramifications and processes of changing a name by deed poll.
